February saw the first partner session of Breaking Barriers, the program that helps AI startups scale faster and make international impact. Together with leading partners such as LegalAIR, EIT Digital, NEBUL | European Private AI, nlgroeit, Greyt, Highberg, TNO, AccelerAsia, Centre of Excellence for Data Sharing & Cloud, ScaleUpNation and Gritd, we discussed the main challenges and opportunities for AI startups in the Netherlands.
During this session, we talked about the biggest obstacles to scaling up, how startups access the right knowledge and networks, and what it takes to innovate faster and more effectively.
Scale-up lead Anita Lieverdink emphasized the importance of this initiative: "With these powerful parties, we can offer AI startups customized support in different areas to realize breakthroughs. We complement each other well in terms of expertise and everyone is result-oriented and has a strong track record. Together we are building a stronger ecosystem for scaling up in the Netherlands."
