Large Language Models for Logistics Management (LLM4LM)

Making International Trade More Accessible

Anyone who trades across borders has to deal with customs regulations, shipping documents, and legislation in multiple languages. For small and medium-sized businesses, this administrative burden often acts as a barrier to doing business internationally. The Innovation Lab Large Language Models for Logistics Management (LLM4LM) is developing AI solutions to make this process easier. Language models and AI agents read regulations, process documents, and support workflows in the language of each trading partner.

About the LLM4LM Lab

The LLM4LM Lab is a public-private partnership led by TNO and Be Informed, with TNO serving as the lead applicant. Research institutions and tech companies bring together their AI expertise and translate it into practical techniques, models, tools, and prototypes.

TNO and Be Informed lead the LLM4LM Lab. In the lab, research institutions and (deep) tech companies collaborate with small and medium-sized enterprises in the trade and logistics sectors.
