How can you use AI responsibly in HR?

During this online Community Call, we’ll be speaking with two of our participants about the use of an AI solution in recruitment and selection. This is considered a high-risk application under the AI Act.

This session will focus on real-world experiences. Two organizations, LTP Business Psychologen and 8vance, will share their experiences with developing and implementing an AI solution for recruitment and selection. They will provide insights into what worked well, the challenges they encountered, and the decisions they made regarding the responsible use of a high-risk AI system.

They address both practical and normative issues, such as:

  • Fairness: How Can You Prevent Bias and Discrimination in AI-Driven HR Processes?
  • Explainability: How can you make AI decisions understandable to candidates, employees, and HR professionals?
  • Human intervention: What is the appropriate role of humans in decisions supported by a high-risk AI application?

This session is open to the Talent, Knowledge and Skills, and Values, Standards, and Regulations communities, and is intended for HR professionals within companies who are currently working with AI or wish to start doing so, and who are looking for practical guidance and in-depth insights.

This Community Call is being organized by Area Leaders Marloes Roelands (Talent, Knowledge, and Skills) and Frans van Bruggen (Values, Standards, and Regulations).
