AIC4NL is working with the entrepreneurial organization for the technology industry FME and UMC Utrecht on an event revolving around the question: how do we move from promising AI innovations in healthcare to large-scale application in practice? From vision to case studies and from collaboration to concrete action points.
Program outline (13:00 - 18:00)
- Plenary session with future vision of AI in healthcare: opportunities, challenges and the role of policy and technology
- Inspiring examples of AI implementations, including from UMC Utrecht
- Panel discussion on the transformation of healthcare processes by AI
- Break-out sessions in which healthcare professionals and medtech companies work together on current topics such as:
- Monitoring at home / remote care
- Hospital at home
- Imaging - in hospital and local
- Tour of medtech innovation (MR-Linac)
- Networking during breaks and drinks

The day is designed for healthcare professionals, medtech companies, researchers and other stakeholders who want to know how AI technology is already working, and what it will take to scale that technology.
