From January 28 to 30, 2025, the ICT&health World Conference will take place at the MECC Maastricht. This international event will focus on the future of healthcare, with an extensive program around topics such as AI, personalized care, telemedicine, interoperability, cybersecurity and innovative healthcare models.
The Brightlands AI Hub and our Health and Care Working Group are involved in shaping the conference. In doing so, the working group is organizing the six breakout sessions below.

Collaboration in MDR & AI Act across the Netherlands with Finnish, Danish and German Stakeholders to Advance Innovation
The Netherlands is working to accelerate healthcare innovations by simplifying regulations such as MDR and AI Act and promoting transparency in partnership with Finland, Denmark and Germany. This partnership focuses on sharing inspiring examples and promoting innovation within a European framework.

Generative AI: immediate applications and key considerations
GenAI offers opportunities to address healthcare challenges such as staff shortages, complex care demands and rising costs.
