Activities in the AI field
We do this, among other things, on our popular, international bachelor's degree program in HBO-ICT, which includes a Data Science major. In this, students combine 2 years of specific training in DS, plus a year of internships in the field. Our Data Science lectureship is also an important pivot. Contribution to AIC4NL
At HZ, we are eager to be part of professional AI networks at the national, European, and global levels. We view AIC4NL as a key player in the AI ecosystem. In particular, we hope to contribute to AIC4NL’s ELSA Labs initiative. We also aim to help students and organizations prepare for the upcoming EU AI Act.
Why AIC4NL?
We are working with other colleges on an AI/Data-related master's degree, and will open a real Data Science lab in the Joint Research Centre Zeeland in early 2023. Practice-oriented education is central to this. As a knowledge institute in the region, we have a close relationship and cooperation with the field, for education, research and innovation.
