Activities in the AI field
Centre of Expertise AI for Society (CoE AI for Society) stands for reliable, human-centered and sustainable AI. We approach AI integrally, from and with technical, ethical, legal and social expertise. We focus on the development of AI for societal transitions in education, care & welfare, and sustainable living environments. With research and education, we make impact, regionally and nationally. We learn through experimentation, and through open and transparent collaboration.
Contribution to AIC4NL
The CoE AI for Society contributes to AIC4NL through various working groups. Together with our colleagues from other universities of applied sciences, we represent higher education in the Netherlands. Our focus is on the human capital working group, but we are also eager to contribute our insights in the area of ethics.
Why AIC4NL?
Fontys is a member of the coalition dedicated to collectively contributing to the AI landscape in the Netherlands. We share the goals and ambitions of AIC4NL.
