Activities in the AI field
We deploy AI on three fronts: (1) algorithms automatically calibrate our physical digital ship models with real-time measurement data, (2) neural networks build fast surrogate models of complex components for real-time simulation, and (3) deep-learning detects errors or anomalies in sensor data.
Contribution to AIC4NL
We contribute unique maritime datasets, physically validated digital ship models and actual pilot cases. Our API serves as a testbed for AI algorithms, we share open-source modules and connect academic researchers with shipping companies for joint field-testing.
Why AIC4NL?
AlbatrosDigital joins the NL AI Coalition to work with universities, tech companies and government to combine AI with our physical ship models. This way we accelerate innovation, share data and bring Dutch maritime AI as an export product to the world.
