A collaboration between Enesa and Fioritmo
Many organizations want to become more sustainable, but remain stuck in manual analyses, separate data sources, and customized reports. This makes the process time-consuming, costly, and difficult to scale up. As a result, companies miss opportunities to tackle energy waste and take concrete steps toward sustainability.
AI platform for thousands of companies simultaneously
With the MIT-AI project eFlexIQ, which was awarded funding in 2025, Enesa and Fioritmo are developing an AI platform that automatically performs energy and sustainability scans and unlocks flexibility for thousands of companies. The platform is designed to determine on a large scale—for many companies at the same time—where energy is being wasted and which measures are most appropriate.
Energy advice meets digital tools
Enesa provides independent energy advice to business customers and helps organizations gain insight, save money, and take steps toward sustainability.
Fioritmo is an Amsterdam-based IT and consulting partner that develops digital tools to make decision-making and implementation smarter and more scalable.
Together, they are building a platform that brings together energy insight and action, with AI as an accelerator.
Automatic detection of waste and opportunities
The platform automatically detects energy waste, for example due to unnecessary base load, peaks in consumption, or inefficient control of installations. eFlexIQ then identifies appropriate sustainability measures, such as insulation, electrification, or optimization of existing systems and settings.
Faster from insight to action
eFlexIQ supports companies in making informed choices, implementing them more quickly, and taking steps toward energy efficiency and future-proofing with less friction.
