Kickstart AI and the Dutch AI Coalition today kicked off the National AI Challenge. This competition offers businesses and civil society organizations the unique opportunity to tackle a concrete challenge within their organization using AI technology. The organization with the winning use case will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of AI experts and software engineers from Kickstart AI to develop a practical AI solution tailored to their specific problem.
Submit your use case
Starting today, NL AIC participants can register for the first edition of the National AI Challenge. Companies that are not NL AIC participants can also submit a use case, provided they collaborate with one of the current NL AIC participants. After a pre-selection, the five best entries will advance to the selection day in September. During this day, a jury consisting of representatives from the AI ecosystem will choose one use case that can be solved using AI.
Criteria for use case
A challenging and effective use case for the National AI Challenge must meet a number of criteria. First, the use case must address a concrete and relevant problem that is central to the organization's core business. In addition, it is essential that the insights and solutions resulting from the challenge are valuable to a broader audience and can be shared with other organizations. Finally, sufficient qualitative data must be available to develop and train the AI solution to successfully solve the challenge.

The judges of the National AI Challenge have been announced. For selecting a challenging and effective use case that is valuable to a broader audience and can be solved with AI. Collaboration between Kickstart AI and the NL AIC
In late April, Kickstart AI and the NL AI Coalition announced that they will work together to promote the development and adoption of AI applications in the Netherlands. Kickstart AI and the NL AIC both focus on promoting the development and adoption of AI in the Netherlands and have found each other to be complementary partners with a shared mission.
