Access to the Dutch AI Factory (NLAIF)

Europe is building its own AI infrastructure. The Netherlands will also have a national AI factory: the Dutch AI Factory (NLAIF). This will provide access to secure, scalable computing power for research, government, and business, within European frameworks for data, governance, and technological sovereignty.

In this session, you will get a clear overview of what the NLAIF is, how it fits within the EuroHPC AI Factory network, and what types of AI applications it enables. Think of privacy-sensitive applications in healthcare and life sciences, optimization in energy, or AI models for agriculture and nature. We will take you through the most important access routes within EuroHPC, from Playground and Fast Lane for quick experiments to Large Scale and AI for Science for larger allocations. You will learn which route suits your use case, what the minimum requirements are for an application, and which roles in your team are essential, such as PI, technical lead, and data steward.

Finally, we discuss how to make your use case and data situation AI factory-ready, from scalability and turnaround time to working responsibly with sensitive data and intellectual property. This is precisely where the NLAIF places extra emphasis.

Who is this for?
For innovators, product owners, AI leads, CIOs/CTOs, research and project leaders at startups, SMEs, public organizations, and knowledge institutions that want to develop or scale up AI with European computing power.
