Activities in the AI field
Utrecht University has founded Human-centered Artificial Intelligence focus areas to set up and stimulate its interdisciplinary research and to embed it in national and international networks. UU runs a bachelor and a master program in AI and has an AI strategic alliance collaboration with TuE, WUR, and UMCU. UU runs the ICAI national police lab.
Contribution to AIC4NL
Utrecht University contributes to the NL AI Coalition by actively participating in and sharing its expertise across various AIC4NL working groups, and by launching initiatives in various fields in collaboration with its government and industry partners. Utrecht University plays a leading role in organizing AI ecosystems throughout the greater Utrecht region.
